A car bomb in Times Square on saturday evening caused the evacuation of the area and swarms of NYPD and FDNY units to go into action. NYPD's Bomb Squad rendered the bomb safe and removed it from the scene in one of their bomb proof vehicles. The evacuation caused tourist and natives NYr's alike to be stranded from hotel rooms, shows and their regular scheduled saturday night.
